The Ironclad First Light watch features golden hands and accents contrasting against a black sunburst dial and ceramic bezel with a splash of red at the 12 o'clock triangular marker. The Ironclad First Light owes its name to the dawn's facade: streaks of golden and red across a darkened sky.

The First Light watch celebrates the Ironclad battleships which first arrived in 1859 and quickly rose to become the dominant warship of that era; the Ironclad maintains the definitive dive watch silhouette and is infused with Axios design ideas – resulting in a watch that is reminiscent of the past, but wears its own character.

The watch is powered by a high-beat (i.e. 28,800 VPH) Swiss made Sellita SW-200-1 automatic movement housed in a 40mm diameter 316L stainless steel case. The 120-click uni-directional bezel features a scratch-resistant, ceramic bezel insert with luminous markings. The crystal is a double-dome sapphire with inner anti-reflective coating. And, the dial has a sunburst effect under bright light or sunlight. The hands, markers and bezel insert are treated with SuperLuminova C3 X1 and BGW9. The watch comes with a solid-link stainless steel bracelet with a deployant clasp.
