not loud ehough

I bought this watch for the pace beeper to help keep my walking fast and consistent. The pace signal only goes for 30 seconds when you turn it on, so you have to keep turning it on as you walk, and it isn't loud enough. You can't hear it if a car passes or the wind blows hard, basically it has to be really quiet to hear it and its only as far as the end of your arm.
