A new expression of the Essence 41, where precision engineering is revealed rather than concealed. Previously exclusive to the Ceramica collection, the Skeleton Stradale now joins the Essence 41 steel line, exposing the mechanics beneath the dial while preserving the everyday versatility that defines the collection. It is produced as a limited and individually numbered edition of 70 pieces.

Housed in the 41 mm stainless-steel case, it features Formex’s patented Case Suspension System, designed to absorb shocks and enhance wearing comfort. The floating case construction is paired with the latest-generation stainless-steel bracelet, equipped with a patented butterfly clasp offering on-the-fly micro-adjustment (0 / 3 / 6 mm) without opening the clasp—ensuring a precise fit at all times.

At the core of the watch lies a COSC-certified automatic movement, revealed through a multi-layered openworked dial. Developed and produced in-house, the Skeleton Stradale dial is a feat of micro-engineering, bringing together movement and dial into one cohesive construction. Brushed and polished surfaces interact dynamically with the skeletonized movement and its components, creating a constant play of light and shadow that highlights the intricate architecture beneath.

Movement
A Swiss Made Sellita SW200-1 SC ensures top-tier chronometric performance. With ruthenium-plated and vertically brushed bridges, it is on full display through the front and back. The movement is completely decorated and wound by Formex’s in-house developed and custom built skeletonized rotor. Each one of these movements is certified by the COSC (the official Swiss Chronometer Testing Institute) and undergoes the meticulous 15-day rate test to ensure extraordinary levels of mechanical accuracy and precision. Each certified chronometer is unique, identified by a number engraved on its movement and a certificate number issued by the COSC.

Dial
The Skeleton Stradale dial is developed and produced in-house, combining advanced manufacturing with refined finishing. Its multi-layered, openworked construction creates depth and transparency, seamlessly integrating with the movement beneath. A careful interplay of brushed and polished surfaces enhances the perception of depth, while precisely engineered openings reveal the architecture without overwhelming the wearer. Every detail is designed to balance exposure and legibility. Applied indexes and hands are diamond-polished and filled with Swiss Super-LumiNova® for optimal readability in all lighting conditions.

Straps and Clasps
The stainless-steel bracelet features Formex’s patented butterfly clasp with three discreet micro-adjustment positions (0 / 3 / 6 mm), adjustable instantly without opening the clasp. Alternatively, leather, rubber, and nylon straps are fitted with the in-house carbon fiber deployant clasp, offering a gradual fine-adjustment range of 7 mm for a precise, adaptive fit throughout the day. All options feature quick-release spring bars for fast, tool-free changes.
