Formex Essence Swiss Automatic Chronometer with Silver Dial #0330.1.6341.100

The Essence watch combines elegance and robustness in a Swiss mechanical high precision timepiece. The Essence has a patented Case Suspension System, a waterproof case, a COSC-certified Swiss Automatic movement, and flawless hand-finished surfaces. On top of that, unique features, such as Formex’s patented Micro-Adjustment System, will make the Essence exceptionally comfortable on your wrist.

Powering the watch is COSC-certified Swiss Sellita SW200-1 automatic movement featuring 26-jewels, a glucydur balance wheel, and a custom-built skeleton rotor with thermally blued screws. An anti-reflective sapphire crystal provides you with a clear view of the dial details. The dial has a Vertical brush finish with horizontally cut lines which are CNC machined into the dial base one by one. A sapphire crystal is also used for the exhibition case back.

The stainless steel case is 43mm in diameter and 10mm in thickness. Lug to lug measures 49mm. Water resistance is 100 meters. Hand-finished with undiluted passion, the Essence is crafted with an execution only found in high-end timepieces.

    Couldn't be happier

Formex, while not inexpensive, is a bargain for the level of quality, COSC certification, and level of features. The watch comes in a nice box with COSC certificate, manual, and a screw driver to size the screw-link bracelet. The box is nicely made and features the Formex logo on the front. Each one of the chronometer watches comes COSC certified and my specific watch is -1.69 s/d on average (pretty impressive!). The watch is immaculately manufactured with the brushing and polishing looking great. The bracelet is solid with a robust clasp and nice "flip-flop" link to easily add another 1/8"+ or so to the bracelet if your wrist swells up. The watch wears well, despite being 43mm, as lug-to-lug is modest and the watch is quite slim. The floating case adds to the comfort as it springs out of the way when extending your wrist. I would strongly recommend this brand to anyone looking for a sporty watch that has a bit of class to it.
