Iron Annie Big Date, Dual Time Pilot Watch with Luminous Dial #5140-5

The Iron Annie 5140-5 features a fully luminous dial with black hands and hour markers. A big date window is shown at 12:00, and a separately adjustable 12 hour dial is at 6:00. The watch is powered by a Swiss quartz Ronda movement, model 6203.B. The satin finish stainless steel case is 42mm in diameter and the watch is water resistant to 50 meters. Comes with a brown leather strap with white contrast stitching.

Great design, poor quality control

I chose this watch because I've always wanted a German fleiger, especially with a GMT feature. This watch was unique, yet traditional. I love the lume dial, the small dual time dial, the size of the case, the quality leather strap, and the cool date with independent numerals. I don't love the sweep second not lining up with the second markers - I own less expensive quartz watches that all line up perfectly, so there's no reason for this. I'm sure I'll get used to this QC misstep, as it keeps time like a quartz should, and will undoubtedly last years and years.
