Islander 38mm Automatic Dive Watch with Solid-Link Bracelet, AR Sapphire Crystal, and Luminous Ceramic Bezel Insert #ISL-06

Island Watch would like to introduce you to the new Islander dive watch. You will immediately notice that is has a very familiar 38mm case with an offset screw-down crown at 4:00. Thickness is 13mm and tip to tip it is a very wearable 44.5mm. Note that the lug ends are drilled for easier bracelet to strap changes. The case back has a rendering of Long Island on it along with the Islander name, Island Watch and 200 meter water resistance.

Inside the case is an NH36, 24-jewel automatic movement with 21,600 vibrations per hour. This self-winding movement supports hand winding and hacks (seconds hand stops when you pull out the crown). Power reserve is about 41 hours fully wound. The NH36 also has both a day and date wheel viewed at 3:00 on the dial.

The dark blue dial has SuperLuminova on the hands and hour makers and the Island Watch logo is luminous under 12:00. The 120-click uni-directional (pepsi-style) bezel has a scratch-resistant (diver marked) ceramic insert that is also treated with SuperLuminova for a maximum glow-in-the-dark experience when lights go out. It's bright and long lasting.

The dark blue dial has enhanced visibility due to the use of an anti-reflective flat sapphire crystal that also guards against scratches. The anti-reflective coating is on the underside of the sapphire and it imparts a bluish hue at some viewing angles.

Upgraded: We have enhanced the bracelet with solid links, solid end links and a dual push-button milled scissor deployant clasp with three position micro-adjustment. Screws are now used (instead of pins) for sizing the bracelet. Also, The crown is now signed with the Island Watch logo.

NOTE: The Islander dive and dual-time watch is compatible with aftermarket parts available at Island Watch (and elsewhere) for the SKX013 models, such as crystals, bezels, inserts, chapter rings, dials, hands, bracelets, etc.

I am extremely happy with my 38mm Pepsi island diver. The watch is one of my edc, and at $300 I can not find a watch that matches the bang for buck. Hopefully islander puts out some more 38 mm watchez!

Excellent watch at a great price. Shipping was quick even to Canada, arriving in under 2 weeks. It's the perfect size watch. I like the minimal printing on the dial, nice and simple. There is a little play in the unidirectional bezel and I want the clicks to be heavier. It says the power reserve is 41 hrs but I've found it dead in the morning after taking it off at night. Maybe it was not fully wound. These are just minor gripes. At this price you can't really beat it!

Awesome watch in a small package.

First off, I received the watch extremely quickly! About 3 days from my order placed to receiving the watch. Second, I was really impressed with the overall quality of the packaging, protection, and ultimately the watch itself. I was a little hesitant to purchase the 38mm model. I have a 7" wrist which seems to put my in the middle of a few different sizes. I almost returned the watch for the larger 43mm, but after having it on the wrist for a day or so, I have no doubt it will be the daily driver for the distant future. Third, LUME! This thing is pretty intense in the dark. Overall, very happy with my purchase and highly recommend it to others on the fence.

Love my Islander!

This is my new favorite watch. It is comfortable and seems durable. I have had it on my wrist more or less nonstop for a few weeks. The movement has performed more accurately than I hoped it would. Generally speaking I am completely satisfied. I believe this product offers a lot of value for the price point. It is evident the folks at Long Island Watch are taking great care to produce watches which are intended to endure the test of time. I am happy I took a chance on this brand. I would not hesitate to recommend the Islander family of watches. P.S. I immediately received compliments and inquiries about my watch. That is a pretty cool bonus experience!

Great great watch, unfortunately the pins in the bracelet could not be removed, not even by my jewler, so i had to replace it with a strapcode jubilee.
