This Islander ISL-08 dive watch has been refurbished to like new condition. It is rated as being in excellent condition. No mechanical issues.

Island Watch would like to introduce you to the new Islander dive watch. You will immediately notice that is has a very familiar 43mm case with an offset screw-down crown at 4:00. Thickness is 14mm and tip to tip it is a very wearable 46mm (i.e. looks big, but doesn't wear big on your wrist). Note that the lug ends are drilled for easier bracelet to strap changes. The case back has a rendering of Long Island on it along with the Islander name, Island Watch and 200 meter water resistance.

Inside the case is an NH36, 24-jewel automatic movement with 21,600 vibrations per hour. This self-winding movement supports hand winding and hacks (seconds hand stops when you pull out the crown). Power reserve is about 41 hours fully wound. The NH36 also has both a day and date wheel viewed at 3:00 on the dial.

The yellow dial has Super-LumiNova on the hands and hour makers and the Island Watch logo is black under 12:00. The 120-click uni-directional bezel has a scratch-resistant black (diver marked) ceramic insert that is also treated with Super-LumiNova for a maximum glow-in-the-dark experience when lights go out. It is quite bright and long lasting.

The dial has enhanced visibility due to the use of an anti-reflective flat sapphire crystal that also guards against scratches. The anti-reflective coating is on the underside of the sapphire and it imparts a slight bluish hue at some viewing angles.

And, lastly you get a beefy bracelet with solid links, solid end links and a dual push-button flip lock deployant clasp with three position micro-adjustment. For sizing the bracelet, you will find screws are used for removing bracelet links instead of pins.

NOTE: The Islander dive and dual-time watch is compatible with aftermarket parts available at Island Watch (and elsewhere) for the SKX007 models, such as crystals, bezels, inserts, chapter rings, dials, hands, bracelets, etc.

Really like this watch

I've never owned an SKX, but I still feel like it checks all the boxes of what an SKX would feel like, and then surpasses it. I expected the watch to be a lil' bit bigger, but I didn't fully take into account my 8" wrist. In either case, it's an excellent watch and I love it. A few notes: - The yellow dial has a bit of a sunburst presence that you don't really see in the pics - The lume is great. Charges pretty easily - Shipping was accurate and fast - Gave me good insight of what to look for in the future Again, excellent watch. I have really enjoyed it so far.

Been looking for a yellow diver for a while and I honestly think this is the best looking of all the watches I researched. The fact that you can get this for just shy of $300 is icing on the cake. The shade of yellow is just the right color and not overly saturated or loud. It is sort of a metallic canary yellow. This is my third Ilander and the quality has been consistently good. My only critique is the bezel turns too easily and could be accidentally knocked out of place. This will be my official vacation dive trip watch.

Killer Watch

Have had 2 seiko 007 over the last 20 years. Last one had a yellow face that I really liked but it is discontinued. Found the Islander yellow face and love this watch, Had it 3 weeks now and has not lost a minute. Must have grabbed the last one because they were out of stock the next week. My friend saw it and also wants one.

Received my Islander ISL-08 Watch (yellow dial) and it looks great. Really love the weight and size of the watch. The band is also far superior than the one typically found on the Seiko version. This is a great value for $299. I knew I wasn't going to be disappointed since all of my purchases at Long Island Watch have gone smoothly and I'm a satisfied customer.

A great watch, plain and easy. The yellow is such a popping color, and every little detail is great. The logo under 12, case back and on the crown, the screws for the links, the sapphire crystal and bezel are such small individual details that when combined make this an amazing watch at a great price.
