The Mako USA collection is the newest rendition of Orient’s benchmark sport dive watch. With suggestions from watch forums and the watch community, the Mako USA has been updated with a scratch resistant sapphire crystal, solid end links, and a 120-click diving bezel. In addition, this exclusive new model's hands and markers are coated with high grade Nemoto LumiNova® pigment which provides bright, and longer lasting luminosity for low light and total darkness.

The Mako USA has a screw down crown and a screw-down quick day change button. It also comes on a very well designed and comfortable to wear stainless steel bracelet. The bracelet features a dual push-button deployant clasp for amazingly easy on and off. And, the solid end links provide a more stable fit at the lugs. Includes a luminous PIP on the bezel and a day and date window at 3:00 on the dial. The 41.5mm stainless steel case is a size almost anyone can wear. The watch has a great wrist presence and the quality far exceeds the price.

    I was lucky enough to get my hands on this limited edition of the Mako. And I've got to say, for this price, it was absolutely worth it. Awesome watch! Although the delivery to Europe took 7 weeks, Marc was totally helpful, even offered a full refund after the 6 weeks expired, but I haven't accepted it. I will definitely buy from him again, and I can recommend Long Island Watches to everyone!

    I am an avid watch collector. My new Mako USA arrived as promised, well packaged & in perfect condition. You quite simply cannot beat the fabulous value that this watch has. What really caught my attention was the solid end links, sapphire crystal, size, colour combos & overall build quality. All watch forums I visit all say the same thing - HUGE bang for the buck. This piece will garner a lot of wrist time. Well done!

    I got this watch at the special pre-order price and I am very satisfied with it so far. Love the solid end link bracelet and the 120 click bezel. The bezel pip actually lines up perfectly at the 12:00 O'clock position, unlike its early version cousin, the Ray. Would love to have this watch with a hacking movement but at this price point, it's still a great watch. The only Con with this watch is the crown stem can be a little wobbly when pulled out in the setting position. Other than this, it's a pretty solid watch. Forgot to mention, the lume on this watch is pretty epic. It's just as good as most of my Seiko divers. When buying from Island Watch, be assured that you are buying from a very reputable dealer.

    Recently pre-ordered the Orient Mako USA from LIW, and the entire experience from pre-order to status updates to shipment and tracking was great. The levels of communication and responsiveness were excellent. LIW's web site is also a model for what a well designed, easy to navigate retail portal looks and feels like. I will definitely be doing business with LIW again in the future!
