The new Orient Flight watch is an exceptionally good value and it is an "out-of-the-park" home run in design and styling. The type B aviator dial harkens back to watches used in WWII by pilots of bombers and other aircraft. This version comes with a blue dial with white minutes shown on the outer edge and small white hour markers on the inner dial. The watch features luminous hour and minute minute hands, a date window at 3:00, a large screw-down crown, a screw-in case back, and a 42mm stainless steel case. The watch is powered by an Orient made 48743 self-winding automatic 21-jewel movement. Includes a woven nylon strap with PVD buckle closure. Water resistant to 100 meters.

    Better than expected

    Couldn't have expected better service, my watch arrived promptly and the communication was spot on. The watch is very attractive and keeps great time. I am a self admitted watch snob and bought this with real reservations; it now gets near equal wrist time to my primary watch, a Rolex Stainless Submariner.

    Great watch puts a smile on my face!

    Easy to read, screw down crown, 100m water resistant, bright long lasting lume, and Orient mechanical accuracy and craftsmanship. Love it! The nylon strap is decent and has a nice signed buckle with matching finish, but I replaced it with a thick brown leather Panari style strap with white contrast stitching to get a more "Flieger Watch" look, eventually I'll swap that for an appropriate riveted strap.

    Love the watch, I was looking for an aviator b-dial for a while and this one was it, great beater watch goes with many different nato and regular straps.

    I love the layout of this watch. I already own several aviator-style Seikos, but they just weren't what I wanted. I already collect Orient watches, so this was a no-brainer. Except... the product exceeded my expectations. The 42mm case is perfect for me. I have small wrists, and anything larger would be overwhelming. The blue face is a nice shade, neither too dark nor too light. The markings are very easy to read. I travel a lot on business, and the watch is comfortable enough, I wear it on the road, at night. Nothing like waking in the dark in a strange hotel. The glow in the dark tells me the time. The nylon band is reinforced with leather, giving this watch a feeling of substance. It keeps darn near perfect time. The screw down crown is a nice touch. The biggest problem with this watch? I want to wear it all the time, whilst my other Orients go untouched. Highly recommended. Oh, so is Island Watches. I've bought 3 watches from them and their service is perfect.
