PHOIBOS Black Forged Carbon Dial Proteus 300-M Automatic Dive Watch with AR DD Sapphire Crystal #PY028D

This Phoibos dive watch features a 42mm diameter 316L grade stainless steel case with aged steel plating, a brown vintage Italian leather strap (+ a black rubber strap), Swiss Super-LumiNova BGW9 on the upper dial, vintage color on the hands, hour markers and the ceramic bezel insert markings. The watch also has an embossed screw-down crown, an anti-reflective double-dome sapphire crystal, a date window, a screw-in caseback, and a 120-click uni-directional bezel.

The watch is powered by an NH35 automatic movement. Water resistance is good to 300 meters which is suitable for swimming, snorkeling and scuba diving. The watch weighs 120 grams.

Great Watch

This has quickly become my favorite diver. Love the aged look and it comes with two straps, a very supple leather and a rubber strap. As always great service from Long Island Watch.

What I like is the overall design of this watch, unlike the homage watch. It is the way to go. Pretty logo, deep pressed 3D case back, sign crown, carbon dial, ceramic bezel insert. Good and lasting Luminous Hands/marks. Lastly a very nice and soft leather band with a matching buckle. What I like to see more from PHOIBOS is that to provide a smaller (36-39mm) no-date watch with high beat movements.

This is a really nice watch, and the artwork doesn't do it justice. Search out some YouTube reviews to see it in the flesh. The aged case is really good-looking, the bezel insert is handsome, and the leather strap is soft and supple. Not a small watch, but it's incredibly comfortable on wrist. $315 is an excellent price for a watch of this quality.
