Practice Watch and Parts for Modders

Island Watch embraces the watch mod culture that was born out of the SKX style of watches. We understand that not everyone is an expert, and you want a watch to practice on first. Maybe you want to try changing a bezel, or bezel insert, or do a hand swap. But you don't want to ruin your new watch.

You can choose from 5 different types of watches.

43mm Diver: The 43mm variety will be an SKX007 compatible platform (with the exception of the bracelet on some), and the case style will be SKX007, Samurai or Turtle. You will receive an assembled watch head, which includes case, bezel, bezel insert, dial, hands, movement, caseback, crystal and crown. Essentially a complete watch, except there is an issue with the movement and does not function correctly. Strap may be a bracelet or nylon strap. If a bracelet, links can be missing.

38mm Diver: The 38mm variety will be an SKX013 compatible platform (with the exception of the bracelet on some), and the case style will be SKX013 or mini-turtle. All are in good condition, but will have scratches and are not new. Additionally, they all have some sort of movement or other mechanical defect, and are NOT fully functional.You will receive an assembled watch head, which includes case, bezel, bezel insert, dial, hands, movement, caseback, crystal and crown. Essentially a complete watch, except there is an issue with the movement and does not function correctly. Strap may be a bracelet or nylon strap. If a bracelet, links can be missing.

Diver NH3X: This can be a 40 or 42mm diver (Southold or Bayport). All are in good condition, but will have scratches and are not new. Additionally, they all have some sort of movement or other mechanical defect, and are NOT fully functional.You will receive an assembled watch head, which includes case, bezel, dial, hands, movement, caseback, crystal and crown. Essentially a complete watch, except there is an issue with the movement and does not function correctly. Strap may be a bracelet or nylon strap. If a bracelet, links can be missing.

Standard NH3X: This will be one of our standard NH3X based watches, such as ISL-14, ISL-40, ISL-54, etc. All are in good condition, but will have scratches and are not new. Additionally, they all have some sort of movement or other mechanical defect, and are NOT fully functional.You will receive an assembled watch head, which includes case, dial, hands, movement, caseback, crystal and crown. Essentially a complete watch, except there is an issue with the movement and does not function correctly. Strap may be a bracelet, leather or nylon strap. If a bracelet, links can be missing.

Standard 9015: This will be one of our standard 9015 based watches, such as ISL-36, ISL-37, ISL-85, etc. All are in good condition, but will have scratches and are not new. Additionally, they all have some sort of movement or other mechanical defect, and are NOT fully functional.You will receive an assembled watch head, which includes case, dial, hands, movement, caseback, crystal and crown. Essentially a complete watch, except there is an issue with the movement and does not function correctly. Strap may be a bracelet, leather or nylon strap. If a bracelet, links can be missing.

Diver 9015: This will be one of our standard 9015 based watches, such as the Northport or Port Jefferson. All are in good condition, but will have scratches and are not new. Additionally, they all have some sort of movement or other mechanical defect, and are NOT fully functional.You will receive an assembled watch head, which includes case, dial, hands, movement, caseback, crystal and crown. Essentially a complete watch, except there is an issue with the movement and does not function correctly. Strap may be a bracelet, leather or nylon strap. If a bracelet, links can be missing.

You cannot specify color or other features. This is a “grab bag” type of purchase, but we guarantee you will receive as noted above. Note: There are no refunds or returns on this item.
