I couldn't be happier. The watch is flawless ... everything I had hoped-for. Nothing out of alignment ... the Jubilee bracelet "punches way above its weight" cost-wise ... and the watch typically gains just about five seconds per day. And the minute hand doesn't twitch when you push-in the crown after setting the time (to the second, after back hacking once a week)! The totally-wonderful $5 shipping to Canada (if you aren't in a hurry) is the icing on the cake. Two thumbs-up from a delighted customer. Plus, the owner responds to emails promptly. What's not-to-like, eh?

    Poor watch

Posted by Doug Robb on Mar 15th 2019

I brought a SKX007 from the scratch and dent section with about a $35 discount from regular price at the time. It was scratch and dent because it was was overhauled which I thought would be a good thing as it should be up to spec. Problem is this watch gains time quickly, about 5 minutes every 3 days but what really jerks me is that it only lasts about 12-14 hours after wearing it so it runs down much quicker than the 40 hour spec it's supposed to have. Don't know if the previous owner returned it because of the same issues and it's actually not fixed or this is normal variance but this doesn't cut it as far as being worth the money these days. Not sure if the one I have is a dud that should not have been sold or this is normal in this range.

    Seiko SKX007K2

I had originally purchased a Citizen EcoDrive from LIW, and I was able to return it and purchase the SKX007. (My refund was issued fast after delivery). This watch is great. Everything is aligned and it is within -5sec/ day. Marc's communication via email was helpful, as well. Good customer service and a good product. I will be a returning customer.

Poor quality. Super strict return policy

Posted by Claudio Diaz-Socarras on Feb 15th 2019

The watch itself has a poor quality control, but I guess that it is something everyone knows. However, with the second one I bought from Long Island watch, the bezel was clearly defective. Being very passionate about this watch, I got it out of the box and tried on immediately after getting in the mail. I didn’t realize that in their mind removing the blue sticker in the case automatically equals to using the watch. I decided to return it and because of the stickers was not on the watch but in the box, I was charged 15% restocking fee. So I warn everyone not to do that. Check the watch first becore deciding to remove stickers. I asked for this to be reconsidered. It didn’t matter to them if I was loyal customer or not. Anyways, I guess they are right, just not a pinch of consideration, and in my opinion, a very strict return policy. Be aware.
