Seiko Solar Watch with 40mm Stainless Steel Case and a Sapphire Crystal #SNE525

The Seiko SNE525 Core series model comes with a radiant blue dial with silver hands and hour markers. It has 40mm diameter stainless steel case with a matching stainless steel bracelet, a sapphire crystal, and a day-date window at 3:00 on the dial. The watch is powered by a solar quartz movement that recharges when exposed to light. It has a 10 month power reserve when fully charged (no need for battery changes). This watch is water resistant to 100 meters.

Having watched the you tube showing of this watch, I thought I would give it a go. It's great. The 40mm size is nice , but it's the sapphire crystal thats the plus for me. It's a gorgeous watch.

Beautiful watch rough and tough enough for daily tough wear with water and bumps. I added a Bertucci crimson and black strap for my daughter in law. She loves it. Light weight rugged comfortable watch.

The strap on this watch is a little stiff, but I expect it will wear in over time. I like the look of the watch, and I think it's durable enough to last a long time. The glass seems protected because it is set lower than the bezel. The matte finish on the titanium scratches fairly easily, but it makes for a more rugged look which is kinda cool. Overall, this watch seems to be a good purchase. 4 stars because I've only had it for 2 weeks.
