Seiko Save the Ocean Prospex Samurai Automatic Dive Watch with Stainless Steel Bracelet #SRPC93

This is a Seiko automatic dive watch that is nicknamed Samurai. This new Seiko SRPC93 Samurai model is part of the new Save the Ocean collection. Part of the proceeds from the sale of this collection will be donated to the non-profit Fabien Cousteau Ocean Learning Center that raises awareness of ways to preserve and protect the planets waters and endangered marine life. It has a distinctive graduated blue dial with a texture that resembles the surface of water. This is offset with blue bezel that has a lighter blue hue that defines the first 15 minutes.

It features a Seiko 23 jewel automatic (4R35) movement, a date display, highly luminous hands and markers treated with Lumibrite for awesome low light visibility, a screw down offset crown, a uni-directional diving bezel with luminous PIP at 12:00, Hardlex mineral crystal and a solid etched, screw-down case back. The 4R35 Seiko movement is self-winding and it can be hand wound and hacked. The movement has a 41 hour power reserve.

Comes on a Seiko stainless steel bracelet with a deployant clasp and diver's extension. The hands are a new style patterned after the hands found on the Seiko Monster series of watches. It includes manual and a Seiko box.

Seiko is and exelent brand.

Have many Seiko's, all are fine builds. Only issue was sizing a bracelet, the pin and collar wouls not stay in the hole during re-assembly, had to purchase another bracelet.

Overall a solid performer from Seiko. love the design and the dial I can stare at it for days. Works like a seiko would. Built like a tank. Easy to research with a lot of content and reviews of this particular reference

Bought a Seiko SRPC93 (great watch) and promptly broke a micro adjust spring bar while adjusting the band. I e-mailed the company and received reply e-mails within a matter of minutes.Marc help me with replacement parts very quickly. I've never received reply e-mails from any other company as promptly. I contacted him several times and all replies were very prompt. Much appreciated.

I purchased this for my father as a Christmas gift. He had always worn business style watches in white or cream dials, and I donâ€™t think he ever spent over $50 for any of them. Well, he retired this year and I thought it was time to break him into something out of his comfort zone. Thus, the Seiko Save the Ocean ProSpex Samurai. I could tell by the look on his face he was a little Leary of it...but he put it on, has worn it everyday since and loves the watch. He says it is a great size, not too heavy, but feels very solid and trustworthy.

The watch is gorgeous and run great. It wears smaller than the spec suggests. It fits well even on my pathetic 6-1/4in wrist. Superb customer service. All my emails were responded very quickly and informative. Definitely a great buying experience.

This is my first purchase from Long Island and definetally not the last. The watch is just beautiful, the dial has a different shade of blue in every light. Wears a lot smaller than the size would indicate, but it is a heavy one, you can feel it pulling your wrist down. Lume is just insanely good. It was love at first sight, and hasn't faded a bit since :) .
