Seiko 5 Sports 24-Jewel Automatic Watch with Blue Dial and Band #SRPE63

This is a new Seiko automatic 5 Sports watch that features a Seiko 4R36 automatic (self-winding, hand wind, hacks) movement. The blue dial has a day and date display at 3:00 and highly luminous hands and hour markers treated with Lumibrite. The crown is offset at 4:00 on the 40mm diameter stainless steel case. There is also an exhibition window (screw-down) case back for viewing the automatic movement. It comes on a matching blue nylon military-style band. Lug width is 20mm. Water resistance is 100 meters. A manual and Seiko box are included.

You have the option to also purchase our own upgraded brushed bracelet, designed to fit the watch. It is a solid link, solid endlink bracelet that is sized with screws and has a 3-position micro-adjust.

    Awesome in every way

    I really like this watch. To start off, it looks awesome! It’s well made and feels incredible on the wrist. The one I got is super accurate, gaining 1-3 seconds a day! This watch is a real strap monster as well... I’ve already got like 10 straps for it... This is my everyday watch from now on. I like this watch so much that I sold all my other ones, besides my beater watch. I’ve had a great experience with LIW every time I order from them.

    I got this one b/c I love the solide movement and its more of an every day/casual watch as opposed to the gunmetal Seiko 5 dive-like with the dark green nylon NATO-like strap that is more of a sporty look. Love them both. And what can I say about the lume !! Fantastic!

    Seiko Five without Bezel

    This is a beautiful watch. I think the bezel on last year's Sport automatic was unnecessary, since I would not use this as a true diver's watch, given lower tolerances. Without a bezel, it has a more spare, pleasing look to it. It reminds me very much of the Tudor Black Bay 36, which is a gorgeous watch. The updated movement allows for hacking and winding, a definite improvement on the old Seiko 5. Accuracy seems fine out of the box.

    Cost/Benefit not worth it

    I purchased a Seiko 5 Sports watch recently. It was delivered in a timely fashion and arrived in pristine condition. However, the accuracy was abysmal. I've owned several automatic watches, so I don't expect quartz precision, but this was 20-30 seconds slow per day. The added cost of getting it regulated didn't make it worth the purchase. I regret spending my money.

    A wonderful and flexible watch

    The blue is more subtle then you’d expect from the photography, almost appearing black at times depending on the lighting. The watch is very flexible with all sorts of straps, both casual and dressy. Only shame is that the brushed bezel only comes on the NATO strap, would’ve been nice to see it on the bracelet as well, especially since the price is the same (at time of purchase).

    Absolutely love this watch, I have several versions of the smaller ones with the glass back and they are very accurate and a pleasure to wear and look at! Great value for the price! Love Long Island Watch and frequently view Mark’s YouTube videos for the lastest and greatest watches!
