This Seiko Recraft series watch is a quartz chronograph with stopwatch functions (1/5 sec to 60 minutes with split time measurement), and a handy 24-hour sub-dial. The black dial absorbs energy from the sun to power the watch. Most indoor lighting can provide a charge as well. The watch has a 6-month power reserve once fully charged. The ion-plated stainless steel case measures 43.5mm in diameter and it has a solid screw-in back. The date is between 4 and 5:00 on the dial. It comes with black nylon strap with a grey and orange stripes. The watch is 100 meter water resistant.

    I keep wearing this one

I have about 30 watches. I'm an addict, I admit it. I keep reaching for this one. It is comfortable to wear and has a good wrist presence. Easy to read also. Others have commented on the tiny date window, which I will agree with, though I do find it useable. Solar is a big plus. The styling and quality of build are both first rate. The white hands against the black face are easy to read. The nylon band is thinner than those which came with my Bertuccis but I don't see that as any problem. Sometimes it's hard to know why one just bonds with a particular watch, but this one does it for me. I also have the blue face version of this, which I like, but not as much as this black face one. I think it may be the hands on the blue one are not nearly as much of a contrast, and are therefor harder to read. Anyway - great watch.
