Spinnaker Fleuss Automatic Vintage Style Sports Watch with 43mm PVD Case #SP-5056-04

The Fleuss series of vintage styled timepieces are inspired by the work of Henry Fleuss who is widely regarded as the inventor of the first self-contained underwater breathing apparatus (Scuba) in 1878. The watch has a 43mm diameter black PVD case crafted out of solid 316L stainless steel is framed by a C5 see through luminous applied vintage style curved semi bulbous Acrylic bezel. The domed crystal is made from scratch resistant sapphire.

Powering the watch is a precise Seiko TMI NH35 movement proposing the basis of dependable timing instrumentation cloaked in a timeless vintage aesthetic. An exhibition window case back gives you a view of the movement and winding rotor. The watch comes with a thick leather strap with tie-offs at the lug ends. The band width is 22mm. Water resistance is rated at 15 ATM or 150 meters.

Bought it as a gift for my boss / friend . He loved it probably be buying one for myself soon. Great looking watch, looks much more expensive than it is .

I bought this watch after careful research. It has the Seiko NH35 movement. Accuracy is within four seconds. Well below the stated tolerance. It has a sapphire crystal. WR to 150m. Mine is on sale for $168. Unbeatable price for such a fine watch. Date 02-01-19. This is the first screw down crown watch I own and I am not familiar with the force required to tighten or loosen the crown. The crown is more difficult to use than it is should be. I am getting it serviced to fix the problem. 02-02-2019 Island Watch replied within hours and is taking care of the problem. 02-09-2019 Island Watch has sent me a new Fleuss in exchange for the first one. Very quick turnaround. The crown works perfectly. Timekeeping is within three seconds per day, well within specs. Another great watch! Great service from a great company. I recommend Long Island. They stand behind their products. Thank you Marc & company.
