The iconic 1960s Timex Marlin® case gets an aesthetic refresh. Ticking inside is a tried and true 21 jewel automatic movement, creating a contemporary timepiece that honors Timex’s watchmaking history. The sleek monochromatic Marlin® is given a playful update with Snoopy typing featured on the dial. It’s part of the “Peanuts 70^th anniversary” collection. It has an iconic domed crystal and it comes on a black classic leather strap with a silver buckle.

21 JEWEL MIYOTA 8215 MOVEMENT
The exhibition case back puts the Marlin’s movement on full display. Functional and beautiful, 21 jewels are used at the friction points to make the movement last longer, keep the mechanics better aligned and increase the accuracy of the watch.

MID-CENTURY DESIGN
The Marlin collection is not a re-imagining of a classic 1960s watch, but a careful recreation. From the sleek dial to the leather strap, Timex stayed true to the mid-century design of the original Marlin — a watch known for its ability to take a licking and keep on ticking.

DOMED CRYSTAL LENS
True to the original 1960s Marlin design, Timex brought back the traditional domed crystal of the original Marlin watch.

Although the watch movement is a little noisy and does not hack, it keeps good time and fits a small wrist. The novelty of Snoopy typing on your wrist is good amusement for your workday.

I'm a writer and when I first saw this Snoopy Timex 21-Jewel Automatic watch, I knew I must have it. The watch itself does not disappoint. Clean lines. Well made. It's beautiful in its simplicity. The back of the watch has a nice see-through window of the automatic movement along with a 70th Peanuts Anniversary badge. A perfect gift for the writer or Peanuts fan in your family.

Timex was my first watch as a youngster but I never thought about getting another in the many years since. When I saw the Marlin Snoopy I was captivated by it and it brought back some great memories. Love it and completely happy that I made the purchase. The price was also a big factor. Thanks.

To commemorate the publishing my book, Da Fishi Code, I treated myself to the only watch I could think of that is truly appropriate for this occasion! This watch is wonderful. The fit and finish is impeccable, the workhorse 8215 mvt might outlast me, and the overall look of the watch really captures the vibe of the 60â€™s Marlin (the case profile and domed crystal simply must be seen!). Because of its meaning to me and how it will always remind me of my author and publishing journey, it will be a piece I will most certainly keep and cherish. Bravo, Timex! Well done!
