Traser P59 Aurora GMT, Dual-Time Watch with an Anti-Reflective Sapphire Crystal #107036

The new Aurora GMT watch features a 42mm diameter stainless steel case with a gradient (dark blue to blue) dial. Comes with a stainless steel bracelet, an inner 24 hour scale, an anti-reflective-sapphire crystal, and a Swiss quartz movement with the ability to track two separate time zones.

Traser's description:
Experience the metamorphosis of the P59 Aurora GMT! You travel in stylish sophistication and earn envious looks during the daytime. And when ambient light begins to fade, your wristwatch starts to glow in amazing colors thanks to two luminous technologies. The green glow of Super-LumiNova on the upper GMT circle and the glass gasket, along with its blue luminosity on the numerals 6, 9 and 12, gradually dims. Late at night, when other dials have faded to black, the face of your P59 Aurora GMT still glows with the beauty of trigalight®-hairlight on its hour markers and hands.

    Nice Watch

Posted by John on Mar 22nd 2020

I purchased this watch to wear at work, primarily. The sapphire crystal is great for durability and the tritium is great for night flights. The bracelet rattles a bit occasionally while wearing the watch, not too bad but more than I expected. Two things would make this the perfect watch: I wish it came in a 45mm case and I wish I could adjust the main hands while the GMT hand stayed on GMT. As it is the GMT hand turns with the main hands so to change local time a time zone requires a resetting of the GMT time also, as well as the date because I still forget which way to turn the crown.

    Fun GMT watch

The P59 Aurora is a fun watch with an unusual aesthetic. The combination of dozens of tritium tubes with the luminescent indices and gasket gives it a distinctive sci-fi sort of appearance. It looks spectacular under a black light. The bracelet is a good match for the case, with a noticeable heft and good construction throughout. It's easy to size, and the adjustment holes are close together for a very good fit. The dial is easy enough to read in any light, but the design is more decorative than utilitarian. The tritium tubes are smaller than you'd find on a Marathon like #WW194015, but there are three times as many of them at work displaying two time zones. The movement can be a bit tricky to set precisely. The minute hand has a tendency to jump as the crown is pushed in, and there is a noticeable amount of slack in the GMT hand. For precise alignment I've had to set the GMT hand 10-15 minutes fast and then let the movement catch up.
