This new Islander watch is a casual dress design that can be worn for just about any occasion. The black pinstriped dial is elegant and uncluttered with applied silver hour markers and sleek silver sword-style hands. An open-heart window at 9:00 gives you a view of the balance wheel in action. An anti-reflective sapphire crystal guards against scratches and provides you with a clear view of the time.

The ISL-98 uses an NH38 automatic movement which is a well proven design that is reliable and offers predictable performance and good accuracy. You can hand wind it and it also hacks (seconds hand stops when crown is pulled out). The ISL-98 is rated at 100 meters and includes a screw-down crown.

The case is 316L polished stainless steel and it measures 39mm in diameter by 11.5mm thick. Lug to lug (or tip to tip) it is 45mm. The back of the case is a screw-down exhibition window style that allows you to view the automatic movement.

The watch comes with a black alligator grained leather strap that includes a double push-button deployant clasp for easy on and off. The clasp also helps extend the life of the strap as it doesn’t require buckling and unbuckling. Just push the buttons to remove, etc.
