Purchased in July 2021, this watch has been on my wrist nearly every day, though I have many watches across the price spectrum. Accurate (-2 to +7 sec/day), tough (screw down crown, 100M water resist, sapphire front and exhibition back crystals) it looks as good on my 7-1/2 inch wrist today as it did new. Timekeeping drift is small and usually evens out over a week so I rarely need to reset it, which is GREAT!. I've replaced the metal "jubilee" bracelet with a thin and comfortable blue leather 3rd party strap and the combination is striking. A LOT of thought went into configuring this watch - and a lot of value comes out of it. Good job, Mark!

Haven't got any negatives to report about this piece. The finish is great, Miyota movement gives the Swiss movements a run for their money, by keeping exceptional time. The watch box was sized just right for posting and not something ridiculously oversized. Top marks to longisland watch!

Very nice build quality and the lack of a date magnifier gives it a cleaner look than the watch it homages. And the additional sculpting on the sides of the lugs in a nice bit of detail. It really shines with a leather strap.

This is the most remarkable watch. I have many watches, but for some reason, this is the only watch I want to wear every day! I've worn it continuously, without interruption, since it arrived.

What a watch! I have been looking for something stunning and reasonable priced. I can wear this with dress shirts, casual or even a t-shirt. Sizing was unbelievable easy, the micro adjustments made the fit perfect. If your are looking for something stunning that doesn't require a second mortgage then this is the one.

I have been impressed with the value on all the Islander watches i won, but this one is the jewel of them all, in my opinion. A beautiful watch that is slim enough to fit under shirt cuffs for formal occasions, yet tough enough to wear everyday without worrying about damage, and it has the classic look that everyone knows. This one attracts attention from people when I wear it.

Truly a beautiful watch. I'm amazed at the quality in general, but especially at this price point. I love the blue dial – it's more subtle and muted than other blue dials I've seen, but I think that's appropriate for a dressier watch, and it makes it a little more unique. As others have mentioned, it's very comfortable to wear. I also appreciate the low profile that this movement allows. So far, it's keeping great time. The jubilee bracelet is beautiful too. This was my first Islander watch, but it will not be my last!

Having grown on Long Island, I appreciate this wonderful source of great watches for great prices. Long Island Watch has a wonderful inventory of excellent current value added watch brands, particularly their own customized Islander brand. I am amazed at the great quality of the blue dial dress watch which I purchased this February. It is the perfect size and could easily pass for that very sought after unmentioned brand which everyone wants to buy however their watches are extremely unavailable. I am on the list for one but decided to get the ISLANDER HI-BEAT AUTOMATIC DRESS WATCH WITH BLUE DIAL, AR SAPPHIRE CRYSTAL #ISL-38 instead so I can wear it now and not wait 5 to 10 years, if I am lucky. And it did not cost over 5,000 dollars! Marc does a great job in innovating and producing and making available his Islander brand as well as the other great watch brands he sells. I have purchased several great watches from him in the past and will continue to check Long Island Watch for future purchases. Thanks Marc and Long Island watch.
