Islander Brookville Hi-Beat Automatic Dress Watch with Cherry Red Dial #ISL-130

This Islander watch has a classic and tasteful 38mm x 11mm stainless steel case design. The sides are polished and the top has a fine brushed finish. A fluted bezel sparkles in the light, and draws attention to the dial. The sunburst cherry red dial features applied silver hour markers filled with Super-LumiNova. The sleek silver hands are also filled with Super-LumiNova for viewing the time in the dark. An anti-reflective sapphire crystal guards against scratches and provides you with an exceptionally clear view of the time and date.

The ISL-130 is powered by a 24-jewel, Hi-Beat (28,800 bph) Miyota 9015 automatic movement that features a seconds hand that ticks 8 times per second. You can hand wind it and it also hacks (seconds hand stops when crown is pulled out). Power reserve is rated at about 42 hours. The movement is visible via an exhibition window caseback. Usually dress watches only come with 30 to 50 meters of water resistance - the ISL-130 is rated to 100 meters and includes a screw-down crown.

The watch comes with an elegant stainless steel bracelet with a push-button deployant clasp for easy on and off. The bracelet links are solid as are the end-links. The lug width is 20mm. Sizing is made easier with the use of a screws instead the more common pins.
